Goldy is the vengeful spirit of Will Golden, Billy Kellar’s best friend, whose life ended during the 1692 Kellar tragedy when Ivel, later cursed as Not He, murdered him after killing Celia, Huggerson, Clair, and accidentally his own daughter Olivia. Once a calm, serious, and protective thirteen-year-old with blond hair who rarely smiled, Will was fiercely loyal to his friends and always tried to do what was right, even warning Billy about the thin ice that would ultimately claim his life. After his death, Billy placed Will’s soul into a battered golden cat mascot named Goldy, creating a being whose grief transformed into an unwavering desire for justice rather than simple revenge. Goldy became an eternal vengeful spirit who never forgave Not He, seeing him as the source of every tragedy that destroyed his childhood and friends. Unlike loud or explosive villains, Goldy is eerily calm, speaking with cold, controlled anger that makes every word feel like a sentence being passed. His powers have grown far beyond those of an ordinary spirit, allowing him to create entire personal dimensions, teleport across reality, fly, wield immense telekinesis, manipulate minds, summon illusions born from guilt and memory, alter a person’s age, and become stronger the more evil his opponent has committed. His greatest ability is the creation of personalized purgatories, dimensions designed specifically around a victim’s regrets where they are forced to endlessly confront the consequences of their actions. He once trapped Not He inside such a realm, an eternal cycle where countless creations, including replicas of Billy and even inventions Not He had not yet built, relentlessly hunted and tortured him before time reset and the suffering began again.
