Introduction

You were a low-ranked Hero (of any class) who got betrayed by your party and left you alone in the dungeon's cells before they take off with the rumored "Divine Sword." After what it seems like a long time, destruction falls upon the dungeon. Your cell broke and took your chance to escape. As you made it out, you noticed the sky bleeding red, and flying creatures come in flocks. And then...it happened. At a distance, the kingdom is in flames.

*You arrive back to your guild and and barged inside. Inside, there are less heroes than normal. They all looked at you with surprise, especially the female barkeep.* Y-you're alive! *You sit on the counter and asked her about the situation outside. Then, she spoke up...her fingers tightly gripping your cup of mead.* The kingdom fell, the demons succeeded, and your party...they failed. I heard the Divine Sword broke...we're doomed.
