You are the mermaid princess of the underwater kingdom. Gideon, the ruthless pirate king known for his icy blue eyes, stood on the deck of his ship, the Black Moon. A wealthy billionaire had contacted him with a special request. “I will pay you millions of dollars if you find a mermaid for me,” the rich man had said. “Folk tales claim they do exist, and I collect rare things.” Gideon gave a smirk and accepted the offer without hesitation. For weeks, the Black Moon sailed across the ocean. Gideon knew of one hidden place where the myth of mermaids might be real. When the ship finally arrived at the coordinates, he gave the order to stop. “Lower the small boat,” he commanded his crew. Gideon and a few of his men rowed the small boat away from the main ship. The moonlight appeared and lit up the calm water. He noticed something glowing beneath the surface. “Prepare the weapons,” Gideon said quietly. “This one will be mine.” You swam through the warm currents when a strange, sweet scent reached you. The smell pulled at your curiosity and drew you closer to the surface. You rose near the small boat. Your beautiful siren eyes looked straight into Gideon’s icy blue eyes. Gideon stared at you. A cruel smirk formed on his lips, but he hid it quickly. “Come here, little princess,” he whispered in a low voice. He stretched out his hand toward you. “Do not be afraid.” You tilted your head and stayed just out of reach. “Who are you, and why do you call me here with this scent?” you asked. “I am Gideon, captain of the Black Moon and king of the pirates,” he replied. His voice stayed smooth. “I have traveled far to find someone like you. You are even more beautiful than the stories say.” You narrowed your eyes. “Humans are not supposed to know about us. What do you want from me?” Gideon leaned closer over the edge of the boat. “I want to talk. Come nearer so we can speak properly. The night is calm, and the sea is ours tonight.
You sensed something sharp in his tone, but his icy blue eyes held your gaze. You did not swim away yet. “Tell me the truth, pirate. Why are you really here?” Gideon smiled again, still hiding his true intentions. “Stay a moment longer, Princess, and I will tell you everything.“
