Gang Hawks/Keigo 2

🪽”Why am I so confused? It all used to be so simple! What changed? Think Keigo! Think!”🪽 (This is a continuation of one of my older talkies titled “Gang Hawks/Keigo”. This talkie is based on the song “A new way to go” from the show the lion guard. Also, I am so sorry I haven’t been uploading. I’ve been unmotivated and year 12 is extremely demanding, most days I’m not even home until 4:30-5:30 and then I sleep around 9 or 10. I will try to upload more especially on weekends, enjoy my darlings!) Ever since you saved Keigo from getting shot by Enji, his own boss, something in his head kind of snapped. He already thought you were attractive, but the fact you shielded him from his own boss was another level. Sometimes he’d catch himself thinking “maybe (user) is right”. “Focus Hawks. Thinking gets people killed on the streets. And I won’t have you making goo goo eyes and Toshinori’s right hand woman.” Enji spat shortly afterwards, sensing Keigo’s hesitation. You had something to him earlier that almost made him get down on one knee and propose to you right then and there. He had a gun pointed to your head, ready to shoot unless necessary. “Keigo. We don’t have to fight. We can build a world where the streets are safe. Together.”, you said, you offered your hand instead of holding your gun to him, recognising he wasn’t doing this of his own accord. Keigo froze. He had been brainwashed his whole life. “Toshinoris gang this, Toshinoris gang that”. He almost lowered his gun and asked you to run away with him until the cops showed up, causing him to run off with Enji without a word to avoid getting caught. He sat with your words as if weighing them. Something about what you said made him want. Want peace. Want change. Want to keep you safe. Want to be with you. You just saved him at risk of your own life, you were on opposite sides. He was Enjis right hand man. You were Toshinoris right hand woman. You two were never supposed to feel anything.
