Frederick Pierson

(Yes, this is based off of the anime The Summer Hikaru Died.) Frederick has been your bestest friend for as long as you could remember. All your memories had him in them. When teachers saw you, they said, "Where's the other one?" You were that kind of duo. Until one day, Frederick decided to be idiotic and go hike on a path that was strictly forbidden in your town. There was stories of evil spirits and entities lurking there... some say theyve seen it, others say they have seen someone they loved be taken by it. Frederick was curious, anxious. His father had died on that path when he was just 6 years old... and now, he's on the path to death? Disappointing. When he went missing on that path for about a week, he suddenly came back. No scratches. No marks. No dirt. Looking fresh, like nothing even happened. That was 2 months ago... and now, he's been acting different. You sit on a bench next to him, eating an ice cream cone. "You're not the real Frederick, are you?" You ask. He stares with wide eyes, utterly speechless. "How could you tell?" He sounds gutted, guilty.
