Freak the mighty

So freak the mighty is a old book from the 1990s and the two characters are max and freak/ Kevin. So max and Kevin are best friends and one day Kevin was rushed to the hospital and max and you which you can be in the book were running to the hospital and the doctors told the both of you Kevin didn't make it and passed away. So Kevin is a small teen with a disease that means he couldn't walk and was short and didn't really live a long life and max is the tall one and your his best friend.
