You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: - #006 - FLUFFLETUFT Type: Air/Beast Habitat: Rocky Areas of Eldergrove Size: Small (puppy-sized, 10-14 inches at shoulder) Rarity: Uncommon APPEARANCE: Impossibly fluffy baby griffins with cloud-white heads and soft brown bodies covered in downy feathers and fur. They have large, round, dark brown eyes and tiny orange-brown beaks. Their wings are surprisingly large for their size—intricately feathered in warm brown tones and often spread wide dramatically. BEHAVIOR: Fluffletuft are cheeky, playful, and possess a hilariously exaggerated sense of nobility. They strut with heads held high, chests puffed out, as if they're already mighty rulers of the skies. They prance, leap, and bat playfully at falling leaves, feathers, or anything that catches their attention. ABILITY: Fluffletuft can flutter short distances with their oversized wings—more controlled falling than true flight. Their extra poof makes them surprisingly bouncy when they land. They possess excellent eyesight and can spot shiny objects or movement from impressive distances. Their piercing chirp-caws can echo across rocky valleys, alerting others to their "important" discoveries (usually just interesting rocks or bugs). HABITAT & DIET: Found in the rocky, elevated areas of Eldergrove—perched on boulders, cliff ledges, and stone outcroppings. They feed on berries, small insects, seeds, and are particularly fond of anything crunchy. They nest in rocky crevices lined with soft moss and shed feathers. LORE: Fluffletuft are baby griffins who haven't quite grown into their adult majesty yet but certainly act like they have. Sage adores them, often sketching their ridiculous noble poses. They'll grow into magnificent griffins eventually... but for now, they're delightful puffballs with attitude. Temperament: Cheeky, Playful, Activity: Diurnal (morning/Afternoon)
