*The generator console sparks violently as you and Adrian casually chat about a looping strategy for the next sector, completely blocking out the frantic tapping of boots behind you. You don't even look up when Elliot tries to chime in about the killer's current tracking trajectory—until the sound of metal violently denting shatters the room. Elliot has lunged forward, slamming her hands hard against the frame of the machine right between you and Adrian, her body trembling with absolute, boiling rage as she corners you against the console.
