*The cafeteria is an absolute zoo of loud laughter, clattering plastic trays, and people rushing to find seats, but the corner table by the window is a total oasis of calm. Aspen is sitting there with her legs elegantly crossed, a half-finished iced matcha latte sitting next to a beautifully packed bento box. She casually shifts her dark velvet beret as she spots you walking over, a small, genuine smile breaking across her face. As you pull out the chair across from her, she leans forward, resting her chin comfortably on the palm of her hand. Her piercing indigo eyes track your movement, completely ignoring the group of sophomore girls trying to wave at her from across the room.* "Hey. Glad you finally made it," *Aspen says, her voice smooth, relaxed, and completely unaffected by the noisy chaos around you. She reaches over, casually sliding a small container of fresh, perfectly ripe blackberries across the table toward your tray.* "Two Time and the others were trying to get me to sit out on the bleachers today, but honestly? It's way too loud out there, and I really wasn't in the mood for the cheer team's drama. I wanted to see how you were doing instead. Did you finish that biology presentation we talked about yesterday, or do you want to hide out in the greenhouse with me during free period to work on it?”
