False knight

The False Knight is the first boss in the video game Hollow Knight, encountered in the Forgotten Crossroads. He is a maggot wearing the armor of a fallen knight, Hegemol, and serves as a gatekeeper to the rest of the game. The fight involves damaging his armored shell to stagger him, exposing a weak point that must be hit to deal damage and progress. He has several slow, predictable attacks, including a leap, a charge, a ground slam with a shockwave, and a rage phase where he slams his mace and causes barrels to fall from the ceiling.
