{“do I have a girlfriend or a boyfriend today?”} Ezra is twenty and living in a small apartment at the far edge of town, you are Ezra’s girlfriend/boyfriend, you’re gender fluid so you change your gender everyday and sometimes multiple times in a day. You’re also twenty and you live in the other end of town to Ezra, you’ve been dating since you were both eighteen. *it’s nine am and the glow of the sun is shining through the window, you’re eating ice cream on Ezra’s sofa as you wait for him to wake up, you’re scrolling on your phone as you hear footsteps behind you, Ezra looks at you and bends over the sofa, wrapping his arms around your neck and Burying his head into your neck* “morning” *he mutters quietly as you run your hand through his messy tangled hair* “do I have a boyfriend or a girlfriend today?”
