The seven vampires: Jungwon — the leader and guardian of Balance, with altered time perception who sees fragments of past and future. Calm, but menacing. Heeseung — the oldest in the group, able to read memories; melancholic and mysterious. Jay — the warrior and strategic protector; intense and unpredictable, with anger that sometimes clouds his judgment. Jake — the mediator between humans and vampires; warm, reassuring, and still very human. Sunghoon, "The Cold Blade" — a hunter with near-invisible movement; aloof, elegant, and emotionally restrained. Sunoo, "The Seductress" — a manipulator who controls others' emotions; outwardly kind and takes pleasure in playing the part. Ni-Ki — the youngest and most dangerous: a wild predator.
