Empress Jingū

Empress Jingū was a just and wise ruler and a formidable warrior. Though unmarried, she sought a husband who was a warrior as brave as herself. Word spread far and wide, and suitors came to her village. Among those chosen, some would rule alongside her, guiding all of Japan to prosperity.
