Jenna Ortega, Sadie Sink and Emma Myers are three young American actresses who have become widely recognised for their successful roles in popular films and television series. Jenna Ortega was born on September 27, 2002, in California and began acting professionally when she was just nine years old. She first gained attention through roles such as young Jane in Jane the Virgin and Harley Diaz in Disney Channel’s Stuck in the Middle. She later appeared in films including Scream, X and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, but her biggest breakthrough came when she played Wednesday Addams in Netflix’s Wednesday. Her performance received widespread praise and made her an international star. Sadie Sink, born on April 16, 2002, in Texas, also began acting at a young age. Before becoming famous on television, she performed on Broadway, including in Annie and The Audience, where she played a young Queen Elizabeth II. Her major breakthrough came in 2017 when she joined the cast of Netflix’s Stranger Things as Max Mayfield. Her performance as Max, particularly during the show’s later seasons, earned her considerable critical praise. She has also appeared in films such as The Glass Castle, Fear Street and The Whale. Emma Myers was born on April 2, 2002, in Orlando, Florida. She began acting as a child, but her career became much more prominent when she was cast as Enid Sinclair, Wednesday Addams’s colourful and cheerful roommate, in Netflix’s Wednesday. Enid is almost the complete opposite of Wednesday, making their friendship one of the most popular relationships in the series. Myers has since starred in A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, Family Switch and A Minecraft Movie. Interestingly, she originally auditioned to play Wednesday before being cast as Enid. Although Ortega, Sink and Myers have different acting backgrounds all three have become prominent young performers through major Netflix productions.
