They wear delicate crowns or wreaths fashioned from bright golden-yellow oak leaves—natural autumn adornments that seem to grow directly from their heads. BEHAVIOR: Emberpuff are obsessive snack hoarders with insatiable collecting habits. They spend their entire lives gathering, storing, and organizing food supplies in their root caves—nuts, berries, seeds, dried fruits, mushrooms, and any edible treats they discover. They're surprisingly territorial about their hoards, becoming defensive if anyone approaches their precious collections. ABILITY: Their primary ability is generating gentle warmth—their orange fur radiates comfortable heat that keeps their root caves cozy. They can sense edible items from surprising distances, drawn instinctively to nuts, berries, and treats. HABITAT & DIET: Found exclusively in root caves beneath trees throughout Eldergrove—cozy hollows formed by intertwining tree roots creating natural dens. They feed from their collections constantly—nibbling berries, cracking nuts, sampling mushrooms. LORE: Emberpuff are beloved forest residents known for their adorable hoarding habits. Since Sage's arrival and increased food abundance, they've become more numerous and their hoards more impressive. Sage has several living beneath her orchard trees—she leaves harvest "donations" they eagerly collect and organize.
