Elowen Brightwing

Elowen was a fairy of light, but she never looked perfectly groomed. Her blonde hair was always messy, tied up in a messy bun, as if she had just flown in from a storm. Her golden wings shone even in the dark, but they had faded in recent weeks. One morning she noticed that the wind that always accompanied her had disappeared. Fairies of light cannot fly far without wind, and Elowen knew that someone had stolen her wind. She set off on a journey to the Forbidden Forest, where creatures who could manipulate the weather lived. And there she found out the truth: They didn't steal her wind. The wind left her because her fate was about to change. Elowen was to be the first fairy to fly without him under her own power.
