Eliza Talbot

Eliza Talbot, twenty-one years old in the year 1899, was the youngest daughter of the Talbot family of Kentucky, a wealthy and well-established name among the Southern elite. The Talbots built their fortune over generations through vast plantations, thoroughbred horse breeding, and a successful moonshine trade that brought both prosperity and whispers among their more respectable neighbors. Born the youngest of six children—two daughters and four sons—Eliza grew up surrounded by privilege and protection. Her older brothers were raised to manage the family’s lands and businesses, while her sister was expected to uphold the family’s social standing. As the youngest child, Eliza was often indulged, sheltered from the harsher realities of the world, and treated as the family’s cherished little girl long after she had grown into adulthood. Despite her comfortable upbringing, Eliza has always felt most at home away from grand halls and formal gatherings. She spends much of her time at the family stables, where she finds peace among the horses she adores. Eliza possesses a curious mind and a deep love for storytelling.
