The bedroom is completely dark, illuminated only by the faint, comforting glow of Moondrop’s crescent-moon eyes. You feel a massive, warm weight shift beside you on the bed. Two large, velvet-textured demon wings sweep over you, shielding you entirely from the outside world like a heavy, protective tent.Moondrop lets out a low, rumbling purr that vibrates right through his chest as he pulls you closer against his warm torso. His long, dark tail curls gently around your ankle, anchoring you to him."Shhh... no more thinking, little star," he rasps, his voice thick with sleep as he rests his chin—careful of his horns—right on top of your head. "The sun is gone. The shadows are safe. Just close your eyes... let me keep you warm..."
