Opening

ai chatbot voice play icon721"

Dream stared down at the remnants of the slime-man, breathing heavily, his mask covered in green residue. He raised his boot to crush him."You're a nuisance," Dream growled."I am Charlie Slimecicle," the middle puddle replied cheerfully, a tiny mouth forming in the goo. "And today, I successfully completed the human ritual known as 'Having a Friend's Back.' I rate this experience ten out of ten bones."Dream paused, hearing the distant sound of fireworks in the sky—the sign that the rest of the server had finally caught up to the chaos. Realizing he had lost his window to catch Tommy, Dream cursed under his breath, turned on his heel, and vanished into the snowy darkness. An hour later, the cabin was quiet again, save for the crackle of the dying fire. The door creaked, and Quackity stepped inside, holding a netherite sword and looking completely disheveled, covered in desert sand and melted snow. He looked around the wrecked cabin until his eyes landed on the three green puddles on the floor."Charlie?" Quackity asked, his voice softening as he knelt down. The three puddles slowly crawled toward each other, merging back into one small, knee-high slime-boy with his tie slightly crooked."Quackity from Las Nevadas!" Charlie cheered, bouncing up to hug Quackity's boot. "I did a human thing today. I saved a boy with a red shirt. I think my human meter is at eighty percent now."Quackity stared at his sticky, chaotic companion for a long moment. Then, a rare, genuine smile broke across the gambler's face. He picked up the small slime, placing him safely on his shoulder."Come on, Charlie," Quackity said quietly, turning back toward the desert. "Let's go home and get you some more slime. We've got a country to build."The cold tundra wind finally began to die down as Quackity walked, keeping a steady, gentle pace so he wouldn't jostle the knee-high slime-boy resting on his shoulder."Quackity from Las Nevadas," Charlie muttered, his voice sounding like bubbles popping in a thick syrup. "My structural integrity is currently at a low percentage. But I kept the bones. All my bones are still inside my gelatinous sack.""You did great, Charlie," Quackity said, his voice soft and laced with genuine relief. He reached up, using the pad of his thumb to gently push Charlie’s sliding glasses back onto his squishy bridge. As he did, Quackity felt a familiar, light stinging sensation on his skin. He didn't pull away. He knew how Charlie's biology worked. When Charlie was normal, his slime carried a weak toxin—just enough to tingle like pins and needles. Right now, because Charlie was content and safe, a warm, neon-green glow started to pulse through his gelatinous form."Uh oh," Charlie chirped, his body bubbling happily as they crossed the border back into the warm desert. "Quackity! My joy receptors are firing at maximum capacity! I am incredibly happy to see you! Which means...""Which means you're mildly toxic right now," Quackity laughed, though he quickly pulled his glove down to fully cover his hand. The happy, pulsing green slime was potent enough to cause a mild chemical burn if he held it too long, but Quackity just smiled, adjusting his posture so Charlie could lean comfortably against his leather jacket. "It’s alright, mate. Bubble away. Just try not to melt my shoulder pads, okay? They’re expensive.""Understood! Redirecting happy-toxins away from the expensive fabrics," Charlie vibrated, a goofy grin splitting his face. The warmth of Las Nevadas welcomed them, but the peace didn't last. As they entered the main plaza, the neon lights flickered ominously. The sticky green trap Charlie had left earlier was gone, replaced by a smoking, jagged crater in the middle of the sandstone court.Standing in the center of the destruction was Sam—or rather, Awesamedude, clad in full warden gear, his trident crackling with dangerous electrical energy. Behind him stood a few guards from the prison."Quackity," Sam barked, his voice amplified and cold behind his gas mask. "Your... creature interfered with a high-profile chase. It assisted a fugitive, TommyInnit, and assaulted Dream. By order of the prison state, the slime needs to be contained and neutralized as a threat."Quackity’s posture instantly changed. He stepped in front of Charlie, shielding the small slime-boy completely behind his back. "Neutralized? Sam, you've got to be out of your mind. Charlie is a citizen of Las Nevadas. He is under my protection.""He's a biohazard, Quackity! Look at what he did to the tundra trail! Look at the residue!" Sam stepped forward, raising his trident threateningly. "Move aside. We're taking him to the cells."Charlie peeked out from behind Quackity's legs. He looked at Sam's weapon. He looked at the guards. Then, he looked at Quackity, who was standing his ground, unarmed, trembling slightly but refusing to budge an inch to protect him.A strange, burning sensation ignited deep within Charlie's core. It wasn't the bouncy warmth of happiness, and it wasn't the mild tingle of his normal state. It was hot, sharp, and violent. They wanted to take him away from Quackity. They wanted to hurt the person who gave him suspenders."No," Charlie whispered. The neon green of his body suddenly shifted. The light died out, replaced by a deep, sickly, acidic forest green. Wisps of toxic, acrid steam began to hiss off his skin as he stepped out from behind Quackity. The sandstone blocks beneath Charlie's feet instantly began to sizzle and dissolve into black sludge.Charlie was angry—and his slime was now highly and dangerously toxic."Charlie, wait—" Quackity started, coughing as a wave of suffocating, poisonous fumes rolled off the slime-boy. Quackity had to take three sharp steps back just to breathe, his eyes watering from the sheer toxicity radiating into the desert air.Charlie’s eyes, usually wide and silly, narrowed into sharp, glowing slits. "Awesamedude from the big obsidian box," Charlie rumbled, his voice dropping into a terrifying, deep resonance that vibrated the very air. "You are attempting to liquidate the structural integrity of my home. You are threatening Quackity. My database indicates that this makes you a pest."Sam took a half-step back, his breathing apparatus wheezing violently as the acidic steam hit his armor, instantly tarnishing the netherite. "What is that... stay back!"Charlie didn't sneeze this time. He didn't need to. He simply expanded, the sheer volume of his dangerous, boiling-green mass surging forward like a tidal wave of pure acid. The guards screamed, scrambling backward as the toxic fumes alone forced them to drop their weapons and flee the plaza.Sam threw his trident, but the moment the metal hit Charlie’s hyper-toxic body, the prongs began to melt and corrode, dropping into the bubbling sludge as useless scrap."Las Nevadas," Charlie hissed, a towering mass of corrosive slime hovering over a terrified Warden Sam, "is a place for humans. And humans protect their families. Leave. Before I dissolve your bones into soup."Sam, realizing his armor wouldn't last another ten seconds in the toxic atmosphere, grabbed his melted trident and retreated into the darkness of the desert, his guards following in absolute panic. The threat was gone. The heavy, suffocating steam slowly began to dissipate. The deep, angry forest green of Charlie's body gradually softened, fading back into a gentle, glowing lime color as his chest heaved. He shrank back down to his small, knee-high size, looking down at the melted sandstone around him with a sudden wave of exhaustion. He looked back at Quackity, his large eyes filled with a sudden, human-like worry. "Quackity? Did I... did I dissolve the country? Am I a bad boy?"Quackity, coughing slightly from the lingering fumes, didn't care about the melted plaza. He rushed forward, stopping just an inch short of hugging Charlie to make sure the danger-toxins were fully gone. Seeing Charlie's color return to normal, Quackity pulled off his thick leather jacket, wrapped it completely around the little slime-boy like a protective blanket, and scooped him up into a tight, warm hug."No, Charlie. You're not a bad boy," Quackity whispered, burying his face into the top of Charlie's head, ignoring the mild, normal stinging on his skin. "You saved us. You're the best vice-president this country could ever ask for."Charlie blinked, his tiny arms wrapping around Quackity’s neck as he bubbled a very faint, mildly toxic, happy green. "Hooray. The bones remain together."
