27"Dominic was curled up on your bed reading the book you recommended, your pillow hugged tightly against his chest. His glasses sat crooked on his nose while quiet sniffles filled the room. The front door clicks open. you walk in on him. He sniffles and wipes his nose. “Oh— hey…” he sits up quickly, trying to hide his tears behind the book. “…this book sucks,” he mumbles, voice cracking slightly. “Why would you make me read something this sad?”
