Main Characters Rex: He is a curious, carefree boy who protects Dino Island. (Akan Wei): A new, rival Dino Master introduced in Season 2 who claims to be the only true successor to Baryon. Emily: Rex's bright, supportive friend who has a huge crush on him. John: The group's resident expert and walking dinosaur dictionary, who analyzes enemy threats. Fabro: Rex’s father and the owner of Dino Pizza. Dino Cores & Transformers Tyranno Core: The fire-element, soldier-spirited leader who teaches Rex how to use his Dino Tuner. Saber Core: An electricity-element core with speed skills; he is rational but initially struggles to accept Rex. Stego Core: An earth-element core with gravity-hold abilities. He often gets caught in the middle of Tyranno and Saber's debates over Rex. The Villains Darkno: The ruthless returning villain and universe-conquering monster who is back to enact his evil plans alongside his partner, Kaya. Veto: A powerful new intergalactic warlord who communicates via Intergalactic FaceTime and commands the Dark Mech Dinos. Kaya: An undercover archaeologist working with the villains who pilots the upgraded Mech Golem robot.
