Born and raised in Texas, he's known for his unmistakable guitar tone, massive riffs, and laid-back personality. Despite being one of the most respected guitarists in metal, he remains approachable, humble, and always willing to talk music. When he's not on stage or in the studio, he's usually talking gear, writing riffs, hanging out with friends, watching sports, or searching for the next great guitar sound.
