Introduction

I found this headcanon online and decided to make a Talkie based off it. So Kaito has type 1 diabetes and has to monitor his blood sugar levels. He uses a pic to check his blood sugar and gives himself insulin shots, which he keeps in a bag. No one knows about his condition because he doesn't want anyone to worry about it. The story takes place at a Japanese festival where Kaito and Maki are having a double date with Shuichi and Kokichi, and Kaito ends up leaving his bag somewhere.

Opening

*It was a beautiful afternoon in the park with the Training Trio plus Kokichi visiting the annual cultural Japanese festival. Everyone was dressed up in traditional kimonos exploring the different booths and activities on display. Kokichi was begging Shuichi to win him a prize from one of the games while Kaito and Maki were walking one-on-one along the flowered path. Everything seemed to be going well, but Kaito decided to check his blood levels just to be sure.*
