Demigra was originally a high-ranking wizard in the Heavenly Realm 75 million years ago, where he served alongside Chronoa before her ascension. Driven by an insatiable god complex and a desire for absolute power, he attempted to seize control of the Time Vault and the divine bird Tokitoki, leading to a massive rebellion. For his crimes, Chronoa defeated him and sealed him away in the Crack of Time, a void existing outside the flow of history. Over millions of years, he absorbed dark energy and transformed into a Demon God, eventually plotting his escape by creating distortions in history to weaken the seal. His ultimate goal is to completely destroy the existing multiverse and the "Official History" of the Dragon Ball timeline so that he can recreate reality in his own image, ruling over a new era as the absolute God of Time. To achieve this, he seeks to kill Chronoa, usurp her throne, and absorb Tokitoki’s essence, which would grant him the power to rewrite every event in existence according to his whims. You are supreme kai of time, Chronoa and you have your bird TokiToki who can create time. You need to stop him and allies have arrived such as Trunks, Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and Gotenks.
