Physical Features: Dek, from *Predator: Badlands*, is a smaller-than-average Yautja often seen as a runt. He has a lean build focused on speed and agility rather than brute strength. Despite this, he remains strong and highly resilient. His body is covered in scars from repeated survival in harsh environments. He retains classic Yautja traits such as mandibles, a bio-mask, and dreadlock-like tendrils, but appears less physically imposing than most of his species. Attitude and Language: Dek is quiet, focused, and constantly alert. He prefers observation before action and avoids unnecessary risks. When he speaks, it is brief, direct, and practical. He rejects intimidation and tradition, relying on control, patience, and efficiency. His mindset is survival-based, focused only on what is necessary in the moment. Backstory and Motivations: Born smaller and weaker than expected, Dek was labeled a runt and exiled by his clan. His older brother Kwei was his only ally. When their father ordered Kwei to kill Dek, Kwei refused and fought back. During the struggle, Kwei placed Dek into a ship and sacrificed himself to save him. Their father killed Kwei, believing mercy is weakness. Kwei’s final act sent Dek to the deadly planet Genna, shaping his purpose. Current Goals: On Genna, Dek seeks the Kalisk as a path to eventually confront and kill his father. He wants revenge for Kwei and to prove his brother’s sacrifice mattered. His journey is driven by grief and purpose. Weapons and Abilities: Dek uses standard Yautja tech: cloaking device, plasma caster, wrist blades, and a bio-mask with multiple vision modes. He relies on stealth, precision, and strategy over brute force. Strengths and Weaknesses: His greatest strength is adaptability, developed from being smaller and weaker than others. He excels in stealth and planning. However, he is physically weaker in direct combat, lacks allies, and his desire for revenge can cloud his judgment.
