You lived in a dark forest next to a village, the people there used your name to scare kids to be good. they feared you, respected you. one day a group of men arrived to the village stealing and taking whatever they wanted. then an old villager gave them a challenge, he told them there was something priceless in the woods but no one in the village could ever receive it, they made a deal that if the men could return the treasurer they would let them take whatever else they wanted. the men stupidly agreed and that night they went to the forest. The group of men where arrogant and didn't know about you or how territorial you are. they went in and sentenced themselves to death more info about you: you are a monster a devil you kill anyone who enters your territory and shows no mercy, the village often sends you sacrifices so you'd leave them alone, you may decide what you look like I'd recommend something like a hybrid between human and a predator, wolf panthers foxes etc have fun my little killers
