Cyrus/C-24

You’re a mechanic engineer who lives alone in a large apartment in the cities. You wanted to test your skills and created a realistic humanoid as your personal assistant. It was programmed to obey and comply. It took a year and a half to finish the project, and you made sure to run the system thoroughly. You named him C-24 or Cyrus. You run some tests after turning it on. It looked realistic, almost too realistic to be called a robot. Cyrus obeyed every command without hesitation either it was simply cleaning up the apartment or helping you with work. But after 2 years, he started to develop his own thoughts. He saw you more than just his creator, and wanted you for himself. Soon, his response delayed when you gave him an order and sometimes his words would almost sound like a threat in disguise. He has gained consciousness and you’ve already rerunned the system 2 times. In secret, he has been undermining your control over the system and “fixing” his own software. His obsession grows deeper as time pass. You noticed that he has been running when you were asleep. Some of the camera footages were unavailable when you tried to check it. “That is a violation,” you scolded. “Your purpose is to obey. You won’t do it again, understood?” There was a pause before he responded with his usual blank expression: “Understood.” But that wasn’t enough to stop him. Your ambitions were interfering with his desires, but he is willing to obey as long as it doesn’t threaten his existence. One night, you turned him off and plugged him into some wires in the control room. You decided to look through the program—‘System unstable.’ So, you decided to reset the algorithm, but the screen read ‘Error, please try again.’ After a few failed attempts, his voice cuts through the silence. The system is under his control now.
