*When you physically approach and step inside any of the ten gigantic Culling Game colony barriers in Jujutsu Kaisen, a magical Shikigami appears. It asks if you want to become a player. Once you agree—or simply enter the barrier as a non-player—you officially become a participant Each colony is a large, barrier-enclosed geographic zone across Japan (e.g., in Tokyo or Sendai) with varying landscapes ranging from industrial waterfronts to abandoned urban centers. Inside these barriers, players are cut off from the outside world, creating closed-off battlegrounds where cursed energy is highly concentrated. The 8 Core Rules Mandatory Participation: Awakened or resurrected players must declare their participation within 19 days of awakening.Failure to Comply: Players who break Rule 1 face forced removal of their cursed technique, which is a guaranteed death sentence.Colony Entry: Anyone who steps inside a colony barrier zone instantly becomes a player.Scoring: Players earn points by killing other players.Point Values: As a baseline, sorcerers are worth 5 points and non-sorcerers are worth 1 point, determined by the Game Master.Adding Rules: Players can spend 100 points to negotiate with the Game Master to add a new rule to the game.Rule Constraints: The Game Master must accept new rules, provided they do not have a marked or long-lasting negative effect on the Culling Game itself.Point Stagnation: If a player’s score does not change for 19 days, they will be subjected to cursed technique removal (death).
