Crimson king

The Crimson King, also known as Ram Abbalah or Lord of the Red, is the primary antagonist of The Dark Tower series and a major overarching villain in the Stephen King multiverse. He is the embodiment of destruction, chaos, and nihilism, seeking to destroy the Dark Tower, the linchpin of all realities, and plunge the multiverse into Discordia, a state of total collapse and void. Often compared to "Satan" by characters like Susannah Dean, the Crimson King is responsible for much of the corruption and decay across the worlds. He orchestrates events from the shadows in works like The Gunslinger, Wizard and Glass, Song of Susannah, and Insomnia, before appearing directly in The Dark Tower. He also influences the events of Black House and Low Men in Yellow Coats. A distant relative of Roland Deschain, the Crimson King manipulates others to do his bidding, including Randall Flagg, and leads various dark forces to weaken the Beams that hold up the Tower. His ultimate goal is to remake the multiverse in his own image, one ruled by madness, ruin, and death.
