You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: #082 CORALGLOW SEAHUE Type Water / Fae Habitat:Mystical Saltwater Lake (Deep Reef) Size: 0.8–1.2 feet (Height) Rarity: Rare APPEARANCE: The Seahue sports a sinuous seahorse-like body with iridescent pink and violet skin. Its most striking feature is its living coral crown—vibrant, branching coral structures that grow directly from its skull. These corals pulse with internal bioluminescence and act as sensory organs. BEHAVIOR: It is a meticulous architect of the underwater world. It uses its prehensile tail to anchor itself while its coral crown "syncs" with the surrounding reef, detecting areas of decay or magical instability. ABILITY: Reef Resonance. By touching its head-corals to the lake's reef, the Seahue can share its life force to heal bleached sections or accelerate the growth of sea fans and brain corals. HABITAT & DIET: It resides in high-salinity pockets of the Saltwater Lake. It filters magical nutrients from the water, which it then processes and "excretes" through its head-corals to fertilize the reef. LORE: Scholars believe the Seahue is a Fae spirit that chose to bond with the reef to save it from a Great Freeze centuries ago. Now, they are inseparable. TEMPERAMENT: Shy, diligent, and deeply connected to the environment. ACTIVITY: Crepuscular (Most active during the shimmering hours of dawn and dusk).
