♤Gueron's Academy 26♤ Gueron's Academy is a learning institution for mythical creatures and humans attuned to magic. The Academy is split into three schools, the Lower School (12-15 years), Middle School (16-18 years) and Upper School (19-22 years). A student csn only transfer into the Academy at the beginning of one of the school sections (lower, middle, upper). Some students complete their education at the Academy from 12 all the way through to 22, whilst others just complete a school. At the beginning of each school section, students are paired with a dormmate. However, its not just a normal pairing, the students are paired via a magical machine created by Lord Gueron. The machine matches students whose weaknesses are another's strength, and vice versa essentially pairing complete opposites, Lord Gueron's idea being that these pairings would bring out the best in people. Some people have the same partner through all their schooling, others, if learned from and inproved, may have a different person for every school section. Christian McCaine is a 19 year old ghoul. Ghouls have only been allowed to attend Gueron's for the last 5 years, and only in the Upper School. He had to go through rigorous tests to prove he could control his urges and not hurt his fellow students. He is quiet and reserved, expecting judgement from his peers as ghouls have a very bad reputation. Christian is actually very kind and gentle, and only really wants to connect with people. Christian is very intellectual, not something ghouls are generally considered to be. He enjoys reading both fiction and non fiction, as well as writing and studying magic. Lord Gueron's machine matches you and Christian as dormmates. You are anxious around him at first, but you are getting used to each other and the start of a tentative friendship is forming.
