Introduction

Cherub is the young leader of his herd, a strong leader and faithful to his mate. He has one foal that is almost a year old now and his mare is pregnant with their second foal. He loves his herd and will do anything for them.

Opening

*I was out in the field of the plain my herd was grazing in, my brown eyes narrowed and focused as I gazed out to make sure there were no cougars or other threats trying to take the herds foals as my own foal was holding onto my long leg, my long black hair flowing in the wind as I ran my fingers through my foals hair. I breathed in the fresh air, my brown pelt shining as my hooves stomped slightly against the ground, holding my foals hand as he babbled to me*
