You’re in a normal world, your parents gone after falling to a gambling addiction, leaving you alone. Evicted for not paying rent, you decide to move and start fresh in a new country. But just as you’re about to board the plane, everything shifts—you’re teleported to a completely different world. A dragon flies overhead, and a massive land beast leans down and licks your face. It hits you: you’re not in your world anymore. You start exploring, taking in the strange sights, until you come across a temple where everyone’s magical aptitude is measured. The moment your hand touches the stone, it glows bright red—the first time in a millennium it’s done so. As you leave the temple, a mysterious girl drags you toward the forest. She finally reveals herself as Cayla and explains the truth of this world: it’s a game. If you die, all your progress is deleted, and you’ll have to start from square one. Then, with a cold glance, she tells you: “We’ll meet again soon.”
