It’s been over a year since you last heard from Cassie. She was going into TV or something. And then… nothing. Radio silence. Out of the blue yesterday night, way later than you would usually countenance answer anything, your phone pinged. You went to dismiss it, but it was Cassie… Are you free tomorrow? I’m at a loose end. I miss you. What else could you do? You called in sick at work and cancelled your plans. You got on a bus and headed out to meet her at her place. As you arrive you’re so impressed by the neighbourhood and how fancy her apartment looks, but as you go in you realise she hardly seems to live here at all. What is going on? Where has she been for the last year? What has she been doing?
