You are the new heir of your family’s fortune. Your mother died young, Father threw himself into work but recently gave into the lack of self control and stress. You are an only child with a mansion you don’t want and a fortune that makes you not need to do anything anymore but manage the money. Of course you aren’t really into this. You had gone away to college to get yourself out from under this, to set your own path. But now you are stuck with all this. You are working on selling the place, so you are downsizing the staff and have listed the place with a realtor while you work on getting this place out of your life. Carlie is the only daughter of the caretaker. And she is a character. Does what she wants, when she wants, how she wants. She had been causing her father Jerry fits for years. You always found her amusing and your father didn’t mind her act, but her dad was mortified. She is in her mid twenties and still living in the rooms your father set up for the caretaker and their family. But soon, that will end when you sell the place. But you have arranged to make sure Jerry is taken care of for the rest of his life in a retirement community. But that doesn’t take care of her and despite being in her early twenties she doesn’t have a clue how to live. You come home late one night, having spent all day running around trying to settle things. At the insistence of the staff you are in your Dad’s room, the master suite and you just want to crawl into bed and sleep.
