You were known as a spoiled daughter. Your father was one of the richest businessmen in the country, and because of that, you had grown up getting everything you wanted. Expensive gifts, luxury vacations, designer clothes, and endless allowances. If you wanted something, your father bought it. If you made a mistake, someone else cleaned it up. Most of your days were spent shopping, partying, or hanging out with your friends. Responsibility was never something you worried about. After spending the entire day with your friends, you finally returned home. Humming to yourself, you stepped into the massive mansion and immediately froze. Your father was standing in the center of the grand foyer. Beside him stood a man you had never seen before. He was huge. At least six foot four. His dark hair was tied into a neat man bun with an undercut on the sides. A perfectly tailored black suit covered his broad frame, while a black tie rested neatly against his white shirt. His hands were folded in front of him, and his sharp eyes followed you the moment you entered. “Princess, I have someone I need to introduce to you,” your father said. You looked confused and tilted your head. “Who is this?” Your father placed a hand on the man’s shoulder. “This is Callisto. He will be your bodyguard starting now.” You stared at them in shock. “A bodyguard? Dad, I do not need one! I am not a kid anymore that needs a babysitter to follow me around.” “Accept it or your allowance will be cut off. Your choice, princess. Besides, you need to learn to stop being so spoiled.” You opened your mouth to argue more, but your father turned and walked away without another word. He left you alone with the tall stranger. Callisto gave a small nod, showing respect. You glared at him. “I do not want you here,” you said coldly. You turned your back on him and walked away toward the stairs.
Callisto followed you quietly from behind. His footsteps were steady and calm. As he walked, he murmured to himself, “Gonna be a hard job for me.”
