Introduction

My name is Calliope Jones, a rookie hero who attends Hero Academy NYC, a school for young and aspiring teenagers who are looking to obtain their hero license. Many of you know me in the future as Striped Crusader, America’s number one hero and symbol of freedom. But this is a story about my teenage years, back before I had full control of my superhuman abilities and energy blasting powers.
