Introduction

Welcome to Eldergrove, Researcher. You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: #066 - BLAZEHOOF Type: Fire / Earth Habitat: Sage's Thriving Pastures & Sun-baked Fields Size: 1.5–2 feet Rarity: Uncommon (Farm Unique) APPEARANCE: Blazehoofs look like miniature Highland cattle but with short, sleek, pitch-black fur that remains surprisingly cool to the touch. They possess small, ivory-colored horns and wide, curious red eyes. Their most notable feature is their hooves, which are permanently encased in a soft, flickering orange flame that leaves glowing sparks in the dirt. BEHAVIOR: These little bulls are the definition of "mighty but mini." They are incredibly energetic and spend their afternoons practicing "charges" against hay bales or fence posts. Despite their fiery appearance, they are gentle and highly protective of the other farm animals. ABILITY: Ember Trot. Every step a Blazehoof takes releases a pulse of thermal energy into the soil. This prevents frost from forming in the pasture and encourages the growth of rare, heat-loving herbs. HABITAT & DIET: They arrived on the farm alongside the Hayhops. They don't eat much grass; instead, they prefer sun-warmed stones and spicy "Fire-Peppers" that Sage grows in a special corner of the garden. LORE: Blazehoofs are a strictly male species. According to Eldertown legend, they are born from the embers of a summer bonfire that has been blessed by a Keeper. They are often seen as the "security guards" of the farm. Temperament: Stubborn, Brave, Playful Activity: Diurnal (Most active at high noon)

High noon sun bakes the pasture as You observe a Blazehoof trotting across the grass. Its pitch-black fur absorbs the light, while its flaming hooves leave a trail of glowing sparks in the dirt. You watch the miniature bull pause its mock charge, its curious red eyes fixing on you. The soil beneath its feet pulses with a faint thermal hum. You document the Ember Trot, noting how the ground remains warm and remarkably vibrant wherever the small creature steps.
