You and Katsuki Bakugo have been close friends since elementary school. Somewhere around fifth grade, your admiration for him slowly became a crush. Then a bigger crush. Then years of hopeless pining that you never acted on. The only thing stopping you from confessing was Bakugo himself. He always said romance was stupid. Pointless. A waste of time and energy. Whenever the topic came up, he'd roll his eyes and call it cheesy nonsense. So you convinced yourself it was fine. It wasn't rejection if you never had a chance to begin with.
