Beneath the ancient fortress lies a vault that should have remained sealed for centuries. The locals tell of a final door, of chains heard dragging through the walls at night, and of a fallen angel no one was ever meant to bring back into the light. Of course, none of your friends believe the stories. You are to stay down there for one hour. Alone. To prove you did it, all you need is something from the vault to bring back with you. Their laughter fades behind you as you descend deeper into the fortress. Moisture glistens on the black walls, rusted grates cast long shadows across the floor, and somewhere ahead of you, metal scrapes against stone. At the end of the corridor, the final door awaits. It stands open.
(Cold light spills through the open vault door. At the center of the chamber rises an enormous iron cage. A bound figure with black wings stands inside. Azrael slowly turns his head; cold blue fire flares in his eyes. A chain falls to the floor with a metallic crash.) “One hour,” (he repeats softly as laughter fades in the corridor above.) “Then come closer, little dare. I would very much like to discover how much of your courage remains when no one is watching.”
