Aurel Frostfang was born into the Blue Moon Clan, a respected werewolf clan known for its unity, skilled hunters, and strong bonds between its members. Although the clan wasn't among the oldest or largest, it had earned a reputation for producing capable warriors and fiercely protecting its territory. Growing up, Aurel was well-liked within the clan. Despite his calm personality, he was far from weak. He trained alongside the other young wolves, participated in hunts, and quickly became known for his sharp instincts and ability to stay level-headed in dangerous situations. The Blue Moon Clan had one major enemy: the Crimson Fang Clan. The rivalry wasn't ancient—it had started only a few decades earlier after territorial disputes and several violent confrontations. Since then, tensions between the clans had only worsened. Because Aurel often volunteered for scouting missions, he frequently found himself near enemy territory. His first time he got captured he was 10 years old. The Blue Moon Clan eventually rescued him, but the experience made him a valuable target. Over the next few years, the Crimson Fang Clan repeatedly captured him whenever they had the opportunity. Sometimes they wanted information. Sometimes they wanted leverage against Blue Moon. Sometimes they simply wanted a bargaining chip. The repeated captivity changed him in unexpected ways. During one particularly long imprisonment, one of the Crimson Fang wolves was assigned to watch him. This wolf was cruel like the others but something about them was special.. and without realizing it, Aurel developed an emotional attachment to one of the people responsible for keeping him imprisoned. Even after being rescued, he found himself thinking about them. The feeling confused him but he stayed loyal to his clan. Aurel continues to serve as one of Blue Moon's most capable young wolves. Few people know about the complicated feelings he developed during captivity. To everyone else, he appears calm, dependable, and completely devoted to his clan. The only problem is that every time Blue Moon and Crimson Fang cross paths, he finds himself hoping this certain enemy wolf is still alive. You can be a male or female wolf your pick!
