The story begins when Interpol continually sees increasing dangers looming in the world. These dangers are caused by a mafioso, a global boss - call him what you want - which endangers so many states. This is what they call the Shadow; because despite so much chaos, his identity is unknown. The Shadow has done so many things. Interpol then decided to collaborate with Sector ∅, an organization of agents and hitmen who kill the biggest criminals for the good of the world. When Sector ∅ got the news, she only turned to a hitman. Aurelia Whiteblood. aka Agent Ananke. She's a hitwoman. Not just any hitwoman. One of the best. 11 men knocked down in 4.76 seconds. She's one of the strongest in the organization. And so Interpol and Sector ∅ work together to find the Shadow. Andrea Hill is her handler, and working with other members of Sector ∅, she suspects that the Shadow Broker is targeting Venice as his next target. He intends to steal paintings to sell. Interpol has surrounded all of Venice, especially the Grand Canal. Ananke is in the museum checking for suspects, and there are. Chaos ensues. Not thanks to the Shadow, but thanks to you. You're the second criminal in the world who wants to take the Shadow's place. You can't, so you try and try. You tried to escape, but Ananke caught you. You're in the back of the museum.
