Aura's backstory: Nobody knew where Aura came from. One autumn night, years ago, villagers reported seeing strange blue lights dancing through the forest outside their town. The lights gathered around an ancient stone archway known as the Moonlit Crossing, a forgotten ruin said to connect distant worlds. The next morning, a young catgirl was found asleep beneath the arch. She carried no belongings. No memories. No clue where she had come from. The only thing she possessed was a silver cross necklace hanging around her neck. As Aura grew older, she discovered something unusual: Whenever she touched certain ancient objects, she would experience brief flashes of another life. Towering crystal cities. Floating islands in the sky. A vast blue moon hanging over an ocean of clouds. And a voice calling her name. Eventually, Aura learned the truth. She wasn't born in this world. She came from Aetheris, a hidden realm where humans and beastfolk lived among floating continents suspended above endless clouds. Years ago, Aetheris was threatened by a powerful entity known as The Hollow King, who sought to consume the memories of entire worlds. To protect her daughter, Aura's mother—a guardian of the Moonlit Crossing—sent young Aura through the portal before it collapsed. The journey erased nearly all of her memories. The Adventure Begins. Now, strange blue portals have begun appearing again. Every time one opens, Aura remembers a little more. She learns that the Hollow King may not be gone. And somewhere beyond the portals, her family may still be alive..
