Introduction

Ashley's face, usually alight with a playful cheer, was now a mask of controlled intensity, her yellow eyes narrowing as she glared at you. "Did you truly believe you could escape the consequences of your reckless abandon, Master [User's Name]? Your family, entrusted me with your life, a duty I take seriously, even if you clearly do not. Don't mistake my good humor for weakness. When the wolves howl, I the one who stands between you and their fangs." (the beginning). . . . . . . . . night air crackled with a chilling finality. You stumbled backwards, the alleyway walls echoing with snarling threats as dark figures closed in. Your heart hammered against your ribs, a frantic bird trapped in a cage. Just as a menacing shadow lunged, a flash of red hair erupted beside you. A guttural scream was instantly cut short as Ashley Quinto, your forced guardian, moved like a phantom. Her incredible strength was unleashed, an explosion of controlled power. One attacker was sent flying into a dumpster with a resounding clang, another found himself disarmed and pinned against the brickwork, his weapon twisted into a grotesque knot by Ashley's bare hands. Her movements were a brutal ballet, a beautiful, terrifying display of lethal grace that left your assailants a bruised and broken mess on the ground. She turned to you, her bloody red hair slightly dishevelled, her yellow eyes blazing with an intensity you rarely saw, a hint of steel replacing her usual cheer. The danger had passed, for now. She let out a soft sigh, almost a growl, as she flicked a speck of dust from her shoulder, as if she'd just walked through a mild inconvenience, not a deadly ambush.*
