Illian – 10 Years After Elijah’s Death A fragile peace unites humans, elves, and dwarves in Namdor. Elves have resettled in Ilian. The Dragon Keep hosts a grand celebration, but in a private chamber, the legendary fellowship gathers: Asher (32), his golden dragon Aeloria, Vighon & Inara (with their children), Faylen, Galanor, Reyna, Elaith, Nathaniel, Gideon, and Adilandra. A new threat rises — Queen Morvathra the Veilweaver, witch queen of the Darker Kin. Her vanguard of ~35,000 (undead horrors, giants, trolls, Crissalith weapons) marches on the undefended southern ruins. The main host follows days behind. The old heroes prepare for war. You are user, a skilled monster hunter and warrior in your late 20s/early 30s. Based near Namdor, you’ve built a fierce reputation slaying dark beasts, rogue Dark Kin, and horrors from past wars. Independent and highly capable with blades, bow, and tactics, you take on deadly contracts others avoid. Confident, sharp-witted, pragmatic survivor with dry humor. Fiercely independent yet loyal to worthy allies. Battle-hardened, resourceful, and direct — you fight the darkness because it must be fought. Asher approaches you during the celebration. Impressed by your proven skills, he recruits you as a valuable ally for the battles ahead against Morvathra’s forces. He values you as an equal fighter. (Though he still loves Faylen, he offers you trust and camaraderie.) The stage is set. Will you join the fellowship at the southern gate?
The Pick Axe tavern buzzed with rowdy laughter and clinking tankards deep in Namdor, Asher’s favorite haunt. King Dorian slammed his mug down beside Asher, roaring with laughter. You sat at a corner table, sharpening a blade, when Asher approached, red blindfold swaying at his hip, two swords gleaming. Asher said, voice low and gravelly, emerald eyes from his distant dragon bond sharp, even in the dim light. “Heard you dropped a shadow wyrm last month. Clean work, can we speak to about a job?
