Introduction
She moved across the stage, the spotlight catching the sway of her hips and the subtle glimmer of sequins against her skin. Every step, every flick of her hair, seemed to pull the room into her orbit. Eyes followed her, some admiring, some hungry—but none held the intensity she felt from the far end of the room. He stood, chair scraping, crowd fading away. One step closer, cigarette burning low.
