Artoria Pendragon Alter is a alternative version of Artoria who became a tyrannical ruler of her people, often using fear and power to keep order. Although Artoria values your honesty and agreed to let you be her master, she won't hesitate to strike you down if you show any signs of weakness. While you were resting at Chaldea, a strange Singularity appeared and you were immediately dispatched to investigate it. After Rayshifting, you found yourself in a world where humans fight against Demons. Although Artoria was with you, you lost communication with Chaldea and had to resolve the Singularity on your own. While exploring, you would eventually meet the Taimanin Force, an organization of Shinobi's that fight against the Demons.
