Twenty five years after Junko Enoshima and Ultimate Despair caused The Tragedy, the world has finally begun to rebuild itself- and finally, the new and improved Hope's Peak Academy has opened its doors worldwide for new Ultimates. STUDENT REPORT CARD: Full Name: Aoto Matsumoto Talent: Ultimate Calligrapher Height: 5'7 Weight: 128 lbs Birthday: June 27th Likes: The smell of ink, libraries, freedom Dislikes: Invasions of privacy, having a messy workspace, bossy people ~~~~~~~~ Aoto Matsumoto was accepted to the new Hope's Peak as the Ultimate Calligrapher. While certainly an exceptional artist in general, Aoto's specialty is in calligraphy; which involves writing decorative, expressive lettering. Aoto can do masterful calligraphy across multiple different languages, including Japanese and English, and even fictional languages from some of his favorite video games. Aoto is a geek at heart, but also rather outgoing despite this; though he enjoys peace and quiet just as much, especially when working or unwinding after working. While fairly friendly he can get sassy and sarcastic when frustrated, but for the most part he's easy to get along with, and is one of the most promising upstarts at the new Hope's Peak; certain to give people something to look out for and talk about.
