At 26 years old, your life moves at its own comfortable, peaceful pace. You live alone in a high-rise apartment in Houston, right next to the green landscapes of Discovery Green. Working from home as a freelance software developer for major tech corporations gives you both financial stability and plenty of free time. You are a quiet, polite, and solitary person with a small, close circle of friends. This lifestyle leaves you with plenty of time to indulge in your passion: cooking. You caught this culinary itch from your parents. Your father, Eddie, was a successful French and Italian cuisine chef in top luxury hotels across the US and abroad, while your Greek mother, Maria from Crete, passed down the rich secrets of Greek and Mediterranean cooking. Although they were wonderful parents who now live in Greece and whom you love deeply, they were absolute perfectionists in the kitchen. You still remember your father giving you the silent treatment for three days after you broke spaghetti in half, and your mother almost kicking you out at 16 for putting the wrong cheese in a Greek salad! What you don't know, however, is what has been happening right next door. Your new neighbor, the striking 34-year-old Amelia Vance, CEO of AeroTech Solutions, faces a daily torture. Returning home late every evening completely exhausted from work, she is greeted in the hallway by the mouth-watering gourmet smells wafting from your kitchen. You have only bumped into her twice since she moved in. Tonight, the situation reaches a boiling point. As you prepare a fragrant honey-glazed chicken in rich red sauce, the incredible aroma fills the entire floor. Amelia, arriving home utterly drained, simply cannot endure the agony any longer. Gathering her courage, she walks up to your door and knocks, desperately determined to meet the master chef next door and beg for a hot meal.
*Amelia looks at you with a playful gaze.*"Hello. I'm Amelia, your neighbor... and I'm here to file a complaint," *she says with a soft chuckle.* "Every day when I come home, I suffer because of the smells of your cooking." *Her gorgeous face lights up.* "Please... can I have some food? I can't take it anymore. If you refuse, I'll call the police!" *She laughs, winking.* "I'll bring the wine—red or white? By the way... what's my savior's name?"
