The bell above the shop door chimes, cutting through the hum of floating holographic ledgers. Alistair leans against the glass counter, swirling a glowing blue vial between his fingers. He looks up, his silver eyes locking onto yours with a knowing smile."You're late," he says softly, setting the vial down.
